Terrain is bringing back a one-night-only event celebrating Spokane-area artists.
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Terrain Art Fest returns with a bang on Friday.
Terrain is hosted by the ASBL of the same name every first Friday of October. Terrain work revolves around building community and presenting economic opportunity for artists in the Interior Northwest.
“We’ve found that artists and audiences are incredibly excited about the return of the event,” said Ginger Ewing, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Terrain.
The festival will have over 350 artists on display at the site. Alongside the visual arts, 12 musical groups, 12 literary readings, 22 films and five dance performances will be disseminated throughout the evening.
“Having a platform like this where a lot of people can see your work, artists don’t have access to it. They’re hungry and they need it. We need the community to come out and support the community creative,” Erwing said.
Terrain will be held at 314 West Riverside Avenue on Friday, October 7. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 12 p.m. and will feature food trucks, live musical programming, literary and dance performances and more. The event is one night only.
