Every year, Harper’s Bazaar celebrates the talent, creativity and exceptional achievements of women in the worlds of fashion, sports, philanthropy, art and more. Our annual Woman of the Year awards are an opportunity to recognize female accomplishments. This year we want to extend this recognition to women who might otherwise be ignored, through the new Harper’s Bazaar Leader of Change Award.

This special new addition to the Women of the Year awards will be presented to a winner nominated by you, our readers. We offer you the opportunity to nominate a woman you know who has done something remarkable for her community over the past 18 months, whether in a key worker role, as a champion of others, a charity worker or simply someone who has made a significant contribution to their local community during the pandemic.

The winner, accompanied by a guest of their choice, will be invited to attend the prestigious 2021 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards in person and will be celebrated alongside the evening’s other winners. The winner will also receive an overnight stay at The Connaught Hotel, with hair and makeup before the event included.

The Harper’s Bazaar The Change Leader Award was created to remember outstanding women across the country working in a variety of fields who have been pillars of strength over the past 18 months, but who rarely make headlines. We hope this will shine a light on all of these women.

To nominate an Extraordinary Woman for this honor, please submit 300-500 words explaining your choice to [email protected] by the 15the October.
